if you take the top 6 from each event, 14/17 are zerg... LOL. Me, infeza and sensai only protoss, no terran! (unaware of EveSign's race in brisbane so excluded him for that reason.)
But yeah, Deth missing Melbourne quals, Yoonyj missing sydney as well as a strong showing by zergs and a bit of a disappointing showing by other top terrans like rossi and iaguz there made the alrdy zerg-dominant SEA look even more zerg dominant than normal.

Haha I in Brisbane, there were 3 times as many Protoss as Terran.

There will be an online competition announced soon for early January which is one more shot at season points. I'd recommend everyone compete in that, as the points after that will determine invites.
Man ZvZ all day everyday, ahh well... And @PiG, I dunno mate, but as I understand it, it is all based on points per event, so basically multiple qualifiers is a guarantee, and doing well in the previously mentioned online comp will help a lot also.
From what dox said at melbourne, points dont add up? so top 3 should be good enough.. dont quote me on it but thats from memory
Points don't add up if you go to different qualifiers from what I understand, i.e. if you go to Brisbane and score higher points in Adelaide, then your points in Brisbane get overwritten with your higher score. I'm not sure how many points minimum you need to qualify though, or if there's multiple qualifiers in the future that allow you to accumulate points. Dox will be able to answer properly
Points from the Online round will stack on top of Regionals results, however Regionals will have a higher weighting.
100% of points distribution = Regionals LAN events
60% of points distribution = Online Rounds
I'm very sorry its taken us a while, but a full structure page will be written up which addresses these questions, it will then live here: http://www.aclpro.com.au/procircuit/rules-structure
I'm sure you can understand (from looking at Halo, Fifa etc) that these documents take considerable time to prepare. We were also testing how well the Swiss system was received, and will confirm that for all Regionals events from this stage onwards
