Qualifiers & Challenger

REGISTRATION CLOSED.

In two separate Tournaments and three days of competition, we will find the best two players to represent our region at WCS Premier in Season 1. Those deserving of such a title will face off against 30 of the world's best players on the world stage. So start warming up those hands and pay close attention to the following information to find out how you can have your shot at the World Championship Series.

Cant wait to admin this event with Baldie, Not only a minimum of like $15,000 prizes into our players but also three days of sick starcraft action with TWO players going into Premier league. Couldn't be better.

There a quota on how many games you have to have played to play in qualifiers? like in the past it was 200 games wasnt it? And to clarify (presuming its like last year) its Dia/Mas/GM on NA or SEA?

We never did a games quota - that was a WCS America only requirement. The only in-game requirement we have is you are diamond+ on either SEA or NA for the current season or the new season starting early January.

I just heard that if a player wins a round in the wcs qualifiers that there is a special wcs protrait. Is that true? If so, does it apply to players who get a walkover due to no show? (just curious; not sure if it's only for NA)

I'll have to find out regarding a portrait. In regards to no shows - one of the key reasons we are using Battlefy in 2015 is it has a check-in process. This means there will be no "no shows" as they will be removed from the bracket prior to commencement.

I will put out details about Battlefy including details on how to register, what to do on gameday etc in the near future.

Are you still eligible to play if you are diamond in the Korean Server and not in NA nor SEA? I don't play in NA and SEA coz NA ping is OP and SEA is ded server...

I have just got confirmation being diamond+ on any server is sufficient to be eligible to compete. Matches will be played on the SEA server however (unless both players are willing to play on an alternative).
