Hey guys,

I noticed today when perusing the forums that, in Google Chrome, the 'Multi-Quote This Message' button appears to be not displaying the correct image for the button. Please see the below screenshot for visual evidence. In FireFox, the bug did not occur. I have disabled extensions in Chrome (I have Adblock and Reddit Enhancement Suite installed) and still see the error. It occurs in every single thread. I will try a fresh installation of Chrome and post with updates, however I wanted to get this thread up ASAP in case of a potential site vulnerability.

I've freshly installed Chrome and the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it? Obviously it's something on my end, but I'd like to fix it in case it's something dangerous on my computer.

this doesnt happen for me (another chrome user) either, not sure what is happening but best of luck finding a fix

I just noticed also that when I click on it, it changes to the correct picture (two pages with a red circle with a line through it).

I used to get this with chrome, i used to get suiprs picture every where though instead of pictures like that so i moved to firefox

I'd just like to confirm that I'm no longer experiencing this issue, although I never confirmed what exactly was causing it.

Interesting.
Additionally, as a Chrome user - my chatbox scrolls up like, half a line every 5 seconds or so - this isn't too bad normally.. but after being AFK or not viewing SC2SEA I come back to the chatbox and its scrolled all the way up.. D: what ever shall I do?!!
In all honesty tho - its pretty annoying.

I can't reproduce this... >< On any browser I've tried the chatbox will stay on the current line (so keep scrolling up) if you aren't scrolled all the way to the bottom, though.

The incorrect images thing on Chrome is as far as I know a browser cache problem which has no consistent repro and consequently probably no forthcoming fix. It also happens on iOS 5 quite a lot for a different reason (and, again, afaik also has no acceptable fix). Neither are localised to this site, but the vast amount of non-sprite images all over the place means it has more opportunity to manifest here.

The chat scrolling up by itself is a known issue which happens sometimes if you are not at 100% zoom, or, by the presence of inappropriately-sized images causing it a re-layout every time it updates. I have an idea for maybe fixing half the problem which I will look at this weekend if I have time.
