set1
Saviour vs Cubephaze set 2
Arrivial vs MSIEvoGTDane Set 3
EditornChimp vs qbStealHeart Set 4
Namakaye vs CubeDione
Ixl brings a strong zerg dominated line up into this tourney and will be hoping they will be able to swamp there first round opponents with creep. This of course will be no easy task as they have drawn Cube for there first round match up. With both these teams being new to SEACL and with the format "xgtl" a form of extended pro league. It may be to early to start with map mind games so im expecting both teams to play the best player for every map. Expect to see IXL Saviour to be a possible ACE player for IXL. Here what there manager Rhys (Lives) had to say about there talented zerg player.
Savior, Zerg, GM
This British Zerg currently resides in Japan and was recently nominated for sc2sea's underrated player and best non-tgm guide awards. His intense style of play and ability to change things up will make him a name to look out for in SEACL's A Class and the rest of 2013.
TAVSToR-B
8pmAEDT Sunday Jan 27
Well this will be a competitive first round match full of rivalry. Both these teams are mainstays of the SC2SEA community and will be wanting to show the upstarts in there groups what to expect. Drawing each other first round will grant whichever team wins bragging rights that will no doubt be heard throughout the tourney. Unfortunately for ToR they will be facing a very strong TA lineup as this is TA A Team just short of competing in Tier1 This team consists of such players as TAPinder, TASalvation, TAKez. and the pain continues for ToR. But one thing ToR does not lack is fighting spirt and if ToR B-Team can rally around there GM players Scalz and RawFish they can cause a first round upset that will make there big brother A-Team players nervous of there position.
ToT-BVsiVn-B
8:30 PM AEDT Saturday Jan 26
The fact these are both "B" teams just shows the depth that is present in SEA Clans. ToT continues to bring the goods after a wonderful showing across the board in the last SEACL By supplying us with two teams capable of being classed among tier 1. Only one could be so there B-Team has been assigned to tier 2 where they will face iVn B team in there first round clash. The fact a player of the caliber of jerryToT is included in this "B" team will mean iVn "B" team will have a tough match ahead of them. Not to say they don't have a chance. Starcraft is a game of skill, strategy and luck, there roster is well rounded and by careful selection of which player to what map there might be a chance of quite the upset, and if they manage that ToT might just start questioning themselves.
Team ManilaVSETL-A
8pmAEDT Saturday Jan 26 set1
Reere vs WaningMoon set 2
Crumize vs Polka Set 3
ETLSoundwave vs xenos Set 4
ViTal vs Chakra
This match up continues two teams who have a mash up of members. Team Manila contiues a frighting mix of players from both Mski and Pacfic. These include JaBi, Chakra, Stella, Xenos Polka. These players together may create and almost unstoppable force in tier 2 and a clearly a favorite to reach the play offs. There opponent ETL may not be playing for the pride of there country they have recruited a few star names in the form of XenoMorph representing SPR and Reere for vVv and hyding Breed combine them with ETL's talented core of members such as SoundWave and Azz and Team Manila might need to rally on there patriotism to fight there way to victory.
Players to look out for
aLt: Pig - The obvious strongest player in this entire tier. I don't think Iris will have anyone to take him out NXZ- Another strong zerg in aLt but i think he is beatable Manly - An extremely underrated but very strong protoss, will be a staple and key to aLt's victory this season
Sang - A strong terran player that once got ranked 1 GM on SEA, however he may be rusty?
Iris Academy: Cabracan - Recognized as one of the strongest terran in NZ(barring Knightlight)
I think this will be a 4-0 sweep for aLt. The aLt players are too stacked and Iris Academy have many unproven players. Iris Academy may provide us a surprise 1 win but generally is almost guranteed to lose this.
IXL Team B vs iVn Team A
Players to look out:
IXL B: Aequitas - An unordothox player who has very strong PvZ, probably the ace for his team.
iVn A: Fight - A solid macro terran that is way too underrated Jazzmaster - Yet another underrated zerg player that is really solid
I think this will be a 4-0 or 3-1 for iVn depending on the matchups. If Aequitas is able to snipe a zerg, then IXL B would be 1-3. However, if the matchups didnt go well, it wouldnt be surprising for iVn to take IXL B out 4-0 with the much more solid and stable lineup.
Team AuX vs Eve B
Players to look out:
Team AuX: Megafonzi - Extremely good protoss that disappeared. Got second in 2 wT weeklies losing only to Havoc/Mafia
Eve B: Dougy - A good zerg player that makes hydra! He makes hydra works! So 10/10 for him!
I think this will be a 3-2 for AuX as megafonzi will be able to carry their team to victory. However, due to my lack of knowledge of the rest of AuX players, i would not be able to predict as accurately as i want it to be. ToR A vs mGG
Players to look out:
ToR A: ToRPetrify - Previously known as FadePetrify, one of the strongest if not the strongest zerg that was on FaDe. With a solid ZvP, and mGG being a protoss-heavy team, Petrify will excel in this match ToRNeko - Was previously on Carnage so he must be good. But his semi-retirement may have hit him hard, will he be as good as he was before?
mGG: mGGProbe - Done well in a few wT weeklies and Master's Cup. So must be good
I think ToR will win this 3-1 as mGG have a protoss-heavy lineup and ToR has players that are very good against protoss. However, i would not count mGG out right now as protoss is a very good race.
Set 1: IrisFluX vs aLtSang Set 2: IrisJD vs aLtShortizz Set 3: IrisCabracan vs aLtNXZ Set 4: IrisThrasher vs aLtManly
No bias here at all. None. Whatsoever

Set 1:iVnForbz vs IXLDarksC Set 2:iVnLaughingMan vs IXLYellowFlash Set 3:iVnFighT vs IXLRunaMok Set 4: iVnSkitz vs IXLRage
I think Forbz, laughingman and fight can all be considered favourites going into their matches and having not heard of skitz I think rage will win that one .
ToR Team A vs mGG
Set 1:mGGZeratul vs ToRTazerenix Set 2: mGGDarkleaf vs ToRFur Set 3: mGGProbe vs ToRSchnitzel Set 4: mGGRicochet vs ToRPetrify
I feel like ToR has the stronger lineup by far and honestly I just like zeratul so :3.

This will be the one i watch if i have time after aLt vs Iris as set 2/3 im not really sure which way they will go as probe and schnitzel are both up and comers, zeratul i've heard of so i gave him the benefit of the doubt and petrify is someone who should stand a good chance to make a name for himself in this league, In fact i kinda voted on people i know of
Eve Team B vs Team Auxilary :
Set 1: EveSnow vs AuxJambi Set 2: EveDougy vs AuxActive Set 3: EveKunnie vs AuxTigey Set 4: EveGeney vs AuxMegafonzi
If everyone is who i think they are thats my bets, EveDougy i feel maybe a name could make a name for himself in this league too, if EveGeney is who i think he is then Eve have done well snatching him up

TA Vs ToR Team B: (8pm AEDT Sunday)
Set 1: TAKez vs Erasmus Set 2: TASalavation vs Loach Set 3: TADivinty vs RawFish Set 4: TACosmic vs Scalaz
Sorry Erasmus but Kez too good for the grade and expect him to use this team league to puch his case for a team spot i feel, as for the other matchs i just went with Salavation over loach as i've always been quietly impressed with his play, and Divinity and Cosmic ring bells so felt i should go with people i know ToT Team B vs iVn team B Saturday 8:30 pm AEDT
Set 1: FatalToT vs Xormentor Set 2: XetechToT vs NovaX Set 3: CalcifierToT vs CyniX Set 4: SeminakedToT vs Chappo
I don't know anyone but the ones i voted for in this and Calcifer and Xetech have always been players who because of where they are from fly under the radar a bit, Xetech used to be one of the protoss i looked at for ideas on PvX so i expect big things from him
Team Manilla vs ETL Team A : 8pm AEDT Saturday
Set 1: WaningMoon vs Reere Set 2: Polka vs Crumize Set 3: Xenos vs ETLSoundwave Set 4: Chakra vs ViTal
The first match is the only one i have a clue about as have played them before, (think i have polka before too) i would've used to say WaningMoon but Reere is getting quite good with the amount of practice he is putting into the game, if theres a place for a breakut preformance its SEACL3
