By signing up and attending this event you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
2. Behaviour
Poor behaviour will not be tolerated, if the admin team or the staff of Mid City find your behaviour unacceptable we will ask you to leave the venue.
3. Cheating
Obviously any form of cheating will not be tolerated, if the admin feels you deliberately altered the tournament in anyway to raise your chance of winning or to lower someone elses we will remove you from the tournament and ban you from future events.
4. Media
Throughout the event SYF GAMING admins will be collecting footage and photos of participants and spectators, if you enter this tournament you agree to being photographed and recorded. This media can be posted on any website SYF GAMING or the sponsors of the event decide to post them on.
5. Staff
We are run by a team of volunteers and we greatly value their time and expect all contestants to do so as well. Staff reserve the right to administrate as they deem appropriate, and their word is final.
6. Prizes
Tournament prizes will be given out immediately after the event, exception made to 1x Knucker Keyboard which will be given out on stream. That prize will be delayed because of postage times. Note prizes are subject depending on the amount of sign ups and donators or sponsors backing the event.
7. Venue
By entering MC Internet cafe you agree to their terms and services. One that needs to be highlighted is that if you damage property of MC internet Cafe you may be held responsible and asked to pay a repairment fee.
Registration
Sign ups open on Tuesday 10th December 2013 and close on the Thursday 13th of February 2014.
To register post below your In game name, Race, Ladder rank and Server most played. Then to finalise your participation send a email to troyduxxie@gmail.com
We strictly will not allow sign ups on the day, if you haven't previously signed up you cannot play in the tournament.
Signups are open to any player of any rank, we have a player limit at 32 contestants. Priority will be given to the earliest sign up, if you are coming from interstate i would highly recommend getting in contact with the admins before booking travel and accommodation to confirm your spot. If you sign up and discover you can no longer attend please let the admins know sooner than later so we can replace your spot.
Entry fee is $20 ($10 for computer hire / $10 for tournament prizes) that fee is paid on the day when arriving at the venue.
Tournament Format
32 players seeded by admins using ladder rank, previous tournament results and SEA Power ranking points.
32 players double elimination bracket, upper bracket is Best Of 3 , loser bracket is best of 1 into Best of 3 in quarter finals onwards.
The winner of the upper bracket will have a double chance in the grand final.
Venue Set Up
On Friday 14th 2014 the SYF GAMING team will be at the venue setting up the LAN from about midday until we finish. If you are interested in helping set up the venue just send me a message and let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
Community Game
We will be hosting a fun community game tournament, anyone who is knocked out before the top 16 will be able to compete in this tournament with the chance of winning prizes.
Whats the community game? Thats for you to decide, vote on the game you want to see played and on the Friday before the event we will announce what game wins. Vote here
