It is BYO computer. Bring sure to have lots of harddrive space because you can use DC++ during the event. There are also console competitions with consoles provided.
Tickets and seat reservations should be done prior to the event when available to do so on the reloadedlan website. Tickets are available from most game retailers see the site for more details.
We tell you often that we will no longer run our events, but then run them again anyway, so that we maximise our attendance, and you can re-live the fantastic experience again and again!
We have titled our seventh and latest event with an eight, instead of a seven, to give it that extra punch!
We will NEVER advertise as a national LAN event. Don't forget, if anyone is interested in Quake, we have a $3,500 Quake Live 1v1 tournament to make anyone that is interested, very happy!
We have cut back on asking for support from other LANs in our lovely state of South Australia, to show that only we are the best when it comes to forming a solid, fully functional LAN community - just like S.A.L.A!
We have never NOT sold out at any of our events. That is why we are the absolute best LAN in Woodville, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, The Southern Hemisphere, Earth, and The Milky Way. In fact, let's just say The Universe!
Oh, and we are also the largest LAN Party in Australia!
Don't take too long to decide to come; after all, this will maybe, probably, most likely be our last event... EVER!
Come to our LAN - It's the shitz!

It must have taken some real creative genius to come up with that. You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.
Actually we never formally announce it will be the last, its all people saying stuff that ive told them in private conversations *sigh*, which end up being changed when we work out a better way to do it.
Most people dont care what number the event is, they just care that the event is on.
We dont, and never have pretended to be a national lan event. We have and always have been in this as a substitute for events that never made it to South Australia in the past. Prize money and prizes have always been a bonus for that.
We are still supported by several LAN Partys for this event, and others have their own plans hatching. Some group combinations dont work when there are several strong leaders in the same team. Ask anyone that has run a major lan.
I cant help it if we've sold out our events. *shrug* Never claimed to be the best, but we are at present numerically speaking, the largest and consistently so over the last 4 years.
This is definitely the last one for me at least. Ive already tendered my resignation to the committee.
Also in addition to the Cash prize for the 1v1 competition, theres some Plantronics and Tt eSports gear for the 1v1 and 2v2 competitions at this event. It is however, absolutely BYO PC only.
I attended one of the previous valhalla LANs held in the same centre. It was so ridiculously laggy not in terms of delay but there was a constant spiking throughout the whole event (causes headaches!!!). It made micro and certain strategies fairly impossible and has put me off coming to future events. Is that a limitation of the venue? or something that doesn't happen all the time?
It was a limitation of the network gear we were using at the time. It wasnt ours and we werent managing it. Reloaded uses a slightly different setup to Valhalla as well. We havent had any complaints at the last couple of LANs Valhalla has done, which is part of why we are using our gear for this event.
Reloaded seating reservations are currently open and filling up fast! There are currently 147 seats left unreserved at this time, so get in quickly! We cannot guarantee seating will be available on the day!
I am still down from that event in prize money we never got..
At least we got some of it.
*edit* Checked bank statements, we received 1k out of 5k in prize money
No problem with the other competitions we won on the day though, just make sure you get your prizes before you leave!
