I didn't see any incentive to pre-order (lack of bonuses I guess), and now worried that this game is a little too popular. lol That and the lack of PC game sales in general. Is it any cheaper to do the digital download? Maybe go to Gamestop and trade in games with an extra 30% and try to get a last minute pre-order in?
I can't be the only one who thought there was gonna be at least a $10 target giftcard deal in this week's circulars.
JB HIFI $69 retail version which is basically same price as ordering online through SC2SEA - and to be honest I really really really wanted to buy it through SC2SEA to contribute but I have an attachment to having a visual box copy for my collections ^_^
GLHF finding the best deal! Do your research I'm sure you will find something.
Yeah i've got a digital copy - i got through battle.net (sorry nirvAnA) as I wanted to support the developers by buying from them directly. I'm kind of sad I missed out on a box because I really loved Starcraft II's packaging. That said, it's just a box and I barely look at mine anymore. Raynor's face has a thick brown ring from coffee as I use the notebook as a coaster too often by accident.
I can recommend purchasing online here. For us kiwis it is actually significantly cheaper than instore. Obviously if you can;t live without a box then you might be waiting a while as I understand a lot of places have sold out on presales. I found a digital copy around $30 - $40 cheaper than one in a store. And I'm not waiting for another week to get my hands on it!
I bought mine online for 51.99 cant remember the site I've already downloaded the NA client however can't install until tomorrow (tonight?) looking forward to playing I reckon I'm going to go Witch Doctor.
Just got a text from EB saying that the Swanston st store will open at 8am for the sale that starts at 9am. The installer will activate at 1:01 PM AEST but the game servers won't activate until 5:01 pm AEST.
It depends on specific stores on whether they are stocking D3 or not.
If the store you bought at isn't stocking you are out of luck - unless you pre-ordered with a credit card, then go and cancel this transaction / get in touch with your bank now!
Bad luck to those who paid in cash. No it's not illegal. You can go on a list of creditors (But really, there is no way you are seeing that money, sorry)

GAME is more expensive than SC2SEA/Bnet/JB Hifi and so on so hopefully not many people pre-ordered it from there.
I picked up one for me and the missus today, selling like hot cakes. Id imagine its partly to due with the price (massive savings considering i was getting two copies).
Edit: Id also like to say that KMart and BigW have some of the best deals on game release, consistently - check them out next time a big game is released and make sure you get in early. (early in the day, as they dont hold stock for people)

catch of the day will have it for $20 on... the 22nd? (i think its the 22nd, sometime next week)
Probs to rogues FB page for that one, catch didnt email that one to me
Yeah goodluck getting that though.. I'm assuming extremely limited stock plus all 8k+ people who have liked it so far will be trying to get it at that price; you've gotta be extremely lucky to get it there.
