THIS EVENT WILL BEGIN 3RD SEPTEMBER 2012 WITH FIRST ROUND GAMES BEING ANNOUNCED 1 SEPTEMBER 2012
The tournament format is set up as a group stage into single elimination. Each game at group stage level will be played as a Bo9 following the below explained All-Kill Format. After this group stage, the top team (or top two) of each group will advance to the single elimination bracket - The amount that advance to single elimination is dependent on the sign-ups we get for this event. We will update the details once sign-ups are closed.
Games will be played out in All-Kill format, a description of All-Kill format follows:
After the game between the first two players, the winner of the previous match will play again. A player on the losing team replaces the loser to challenge the winner of game one on a map of the losing team's choice. Each map can only be played ONCE (For example: EG and Empire send out IdrA and Beastyqt respectively for game one. Beastyqt wins the match, and EG chooses PuMa to challenge Beastyqt in game 2 on EG’s map choice). This goes on until the victor is determined. The z33k.tv Proleague will be played as a best of 9. That means the first team achieving 5 victories is the winner of the match.
The length of this season depends on how many team sign-ups we have. The rough estimate at this time is 1 to 2 months, where 2 months is the maximum.
The series information for each respective group will be updated and sent to all team captains/managers via skype/email every Saturday morning. The team captain/manager must organise a time with their opponent and email

FAQ Do we have to be a legitimate team or can we be a bunch of friends who create a team together?
As long as there are 5 people in a team, you can create a team. It doesn't have to be an official team or anything - just a group of 5 people who will play.
Does that mean if I join a friend team with my friends, that I can't play with my pro-team? Or can i be on the roster for my team?
No. You may only play for 1 team.
