Something thats been flying low under the radar is the upcoming SGL in 2 weekends time. Its a Sydney BYOC Event at Rosehill Racecourse. $50,000 in Cash and Prizes divided up between all their comps, for SC2 the prizepool looks like the following:

SC2 Masters
1st: $1000 cash + $1000 Hardware
2nd: $750 cash + $600 Hardware
3rd: $250 cash + $400 Hardware
4th: $200 Hardware

SC2 Intermediate
1st: $500 cash + $600 Hardware
2nd: $250 cash + $450 Hardware (Website says $250 Hardware + $450 Hardware, assuming typo)
3rd: $200 Hardware
4th: $100 Hardware

SC2 Ameteur
1st: $300 Hardware
2nd: $200 Hardware
3rd: $100 Hardware
4th: $50 Hardware

SC2 2v2
1st: $500 Hardware
2nd: $400 Hardware
3rd: $200 Hardware
4th: $100 Hardware

There is also an Aiur Chef tournament without any prizes.

Im assuming Intermediate is PD and Amateur is BSG

Last time the head admins just asked iaguz/yyj what map pool / rules / tourny format should be as they had nfi about sc2... im sure theyll do the same again if in doubt. theyre pretty flexible which is nice.

Also last time there was massive delays as its an overnight LAN & heaps of other tournies going on - maybe someone who isnt playing/gets knocked out can help run it better this time

They asked me to run this back in November, offered to pay my expenses. Waiting to hear back from them.

yeah ive spoken to the SGL guys too and mentioned ill be there to help out, I do run the best Lans in Aus after all

Is there a schedule? I -might- go to play sc2 as it's just down the road. Not even considering staying the entire time though. I'm not really interested in anything other than the sc2 bit...

Also, echoes you have a good shot of taking down a P/D bracket anyway. If I come, it's me vs. you in the finals, deal?
