Hi, everyone's familiar with the league so there's no need for introduction. For more information you can check out this link for the previous season that has concluded a while back. Season 2 is just around the corner, starting in late September. This thread will serve as a sign up thread.

Some old new things to take note:

Format is Bo5 Proleague, swiss format. Top 4 advance to playoffs.
Every team plays once a week, this season most likely on Fridays and Saturdays.
Games are played on Singapore server when there's a SEA player in the matchup.
Match times will be at night, but probably not starting any later than 7PM AEST.
No league requirements this time. .
Players from all countries are eligible to join.
NEW RULE: Teams can have as many "foreigners" as they want. However, in every week's lineup, only 1 player can be a "foreigner". The other 3 players will have to be from SEA/ANZ/JP. The ace player has to be local too.
There WILL be prize money to be won. Prize sum at least $200 but we're aiming for $300. DankShrine has already contributed $150.

There will be a total of 8 teams competing, the organisers have already reserved 3 spots for the SEA side people (Vietnamese team, Team VK, potentially Thai team), and 1F Pro is already signed up. So, there's only 4 slots left. If the Thai team does not go through, then there's 5 slots for the remaining SEA/ANZ/JP people!

Yes, we will be working on the DQ rules and stuff, don't worry they will be much stricter this season. Please don't derail this thread and refrain from asking more about it.

Feel free to ask more questions, I may have left out some stuff in the OP.

btw if the slots aren't filled up, then we'll be inviting other teams, but the foreigner cap will not apply to them. Also, if more than 4 teams sign up, we'll take in the team that has the highest percentage of locals. So this technically implies that SYF is safe already, with 100% locals.

Yes you can, but there will be rules regarding adding once the season starts. That'll be made known to you when the league is about to start, generally it's something like "player can't play for 2 weeks"
