How does this competition benefit the charity?
Each sponsoring partner will be putting $300 towards our chosen charity - the Starlight Childrens Foundation. Additionally, the $5 entry fee from every participant will also be donated to charity.
If players and spectators wish to donate any extra money to the chosen charity, you can do so by going to this link and donating. Please make sure you use your real name and gamer name so we can track you! http://www.everydayhero.com.au/ttcharitychallenge Even the highest donor gets a prize! (See below)
How do I sign up?
Head to www.tteal.com.au/forums and register an account.
At the top of the board you will see 'Charity Challenge', click on this and choose your game. Start dates, prize information and a signup section will all be included in there. Entry fees can be submitted via Paypal - $5.00 AUD to derek@sea-play.com. Please ensure you include both your real name and in-game name in the transaction message!
Btw just to prevent confusion - the poster says October 5th, but that's when the entire Charity event (including CoD and LoL) begins. So don't worry, you've got more than 1 weeks notice.
Wow that's really awesome !
Unfortunately i am not from australian or new zealand resident and can't participate ;( .
I can help to stream some games if required. We'll make announcement with Maynarde for this charity challenge during the BSG Allstars on thursday so more people can be aware of it .

Aww shucks =| Too bad then. I'll have to remove myself from the tournament.
Just an update here - I've updated my original post and now the entry requirement is Australian/NZ residents, not citizens! Hope to see more people joining up now.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
