In an hour long streamed Q&A, the team over at the Australian Cyber League have begun to detail the structure of their 2013 circuit. The year will be broken into three seasons with a LAN event in each of the east coast capital cities (Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney). The first two season's points will count towards that season's LAN event as well as towards entry into the final LAN event of the year, the National Finals. The National Finals will be strictly invite only based on points accrued throughout the year and emphasised to a much greater extent than last year's final event.
Season one for Starcraft 2 will features two online rounds leading up to the LAN event in April. The dates for the online rounds have yet to be announced along with how the transition to Heart of the Swarm will be facilitated.
The stream also mentioned an upcoming relaunch of Stats Central, ACL's central stat tracking hub, as well as promises of expanded video content and more centrally organized VODs for the 2013 circuit. As they are a volunteer run organization they are always looking for more people to help them run various parts of the online and LAN events so don't be afraid to contact them if you want to get involved.
