Well you should have scouted him not 4 gating first, but even if you misread it you should have 1 zeal and 5 stalkers out somewhere close to the 4 gate timing. Hard to say much else without trying it out, expanding in PvP is not my thing anyway xD

Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row - Iaguz
How does this hold off 4gate?.. with no sentries and a 6 min expand?
An average 4gate will hit at about 5:30 - 6:00min mark, so by then you should have the 4 stalkers and 1 zealot. That will easily defend against the push to plant the proxy pylon and snipe the probe(probe, 1stalker, 1zealot).
And even if you miss it, you should still be able to defend against the 1st warp in with another 2 units from the gateway production (with some micro). If you add in the extra probes to gas once u plant the expo, you should be able to get a sentry out soon after holding.
Worse come to worst, you can cancel the expo and throw down another 2/3 gates and crono your warpgate, and hold off with the 5-7units you have. Even if you make an even trade, you should still be up in the probe count.
Or if you are up against a delayed 4gate, after planting down the expo, you should have added an extra 2/3 gates anyway. So when they attack, you should have the same, if not more production than he will.
Remember, a 4gate can only get a solid 3-4 warp in rounds if they cut probes before they have to start cutting unit production.

To the OP, artosis' sc2 blog has some good detailed builds and ideas on it. just google it. Its called SC2dojo or something similar.
PvT i am using blink stalker either: (factor in the fact im just a casual player)
- blink stalker all in
- sase's 1 gate expand that goes zeal zeal sentry sentry stalker and 3 gate warp in at 6.15, lots of people use similar ones so you can probably copy something similar pretty easy. lets you either attack the front, and/or transition into robo.

The idea behind chronoboosting out the stalkers is to catch the 4 gate probe (well, if you didnt already scout it). You have pretty much the same amount of units as a 4 gate.
I have seen sase do it a fair bit, it most definitely works.
Im not too good at it yet, but it seems to be working fine, especially if you can get the eco kicking from the expo, you get an incredible lead.
