Sometimes it's exciting to watch the pro games e.g. GSL, IEM, ACL
and we have our competitive tournaments and friendly but competitive clanwars...
But many of us are not playing at that pro level and start to rage when we think we should be at that level or close to it if we have played a zillion games. (I mean how many people do we know say "I should be / " or rage/bm etc)
So this blog hopefully reminds us that we gotta remember to have fun too
As this player says it :
TBH I worried when he said that... what was he planning? Proxy 2 gate? Proxy oracle? Cannon Rush? Void Ray Rush?? I scouted everywhere around me...
So it came plus his 3 gate kinda of attack, I held, countered; he held... and it turned into a somewhat macro game except he never found my proxy pylon so I had some fun a few times in fact :
So don't forget it's ok to be competitive, to know all the cool standard efficient builds and hit all the crucial timings but even pros mix it up, including cheeses. Open your minds and mix it up once in a while and remember
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!

"and we'll invest more on Bots, as our first Trial bot, the 'NemBotElie' was a huge success, organising tournaments and being part of the Council of mGG. But there are a few bugs in which the bot cannot go past the skill level of a Platinum Protoss." - PaRAnorMaL
Re: SC2 may be competitive but it's also about fun :)
god i love your adorableness nem
yes all you guys below platinum may think that 'omg i wish i was good i've invested so much into this game and im not improving, i bet being good is amazing and would make me enjoy the game more' but in reality its a lot of doing the same thing over and over and getting frustrated with strict gameplay and sometimes it can be be horribly repetitive and if you take a month off then lol bye bye months of training youre rusty for the next few weeks or month.
enjoy your lower leagues while they last and HAVE FUN you bloody muppets jesus its a game you're meant to have fun
Re: SC2 may be competitive but it's also about fun :)
Its probably different for everyone - its fun for me when I improve. When I stop improving or hit a cap for a long time it really does kill all the fun I have in this game.
