1) Do local tournaments like Singapore Starcraft League count towards the SEA SC2 Open League Points
No, only tournaments open to the entire SEA server are eligible for League Points
2) There are loads of other tournaments like KOTH, BSG, nGenCUP. Do those count towards the SSO League?
No, unfortunately those tournaments are not open to the entire SEA server or are a different tournament format (KOTH/COTH). The League is meant for competitive play, with multiple tournaments as score.
3) Why this League Format? Why not a League similar to the EPL where everyone fights everyone once or a few times?
That would be ideal if there were under 20 players competing but there are hundreds of good players on SEA that would like to compete in the League. To allow for scaling in player numbers, we are using a system similar to F1 racing, where the score is determined by multiple tournaments throughout a certain time frame.
4) I want my tournament to be included in this list. How can we take part?
Tournament listings for Jan-Mar Season is CLOSED, as the tournaments included must be decided before the league starts so players can schedule themselves around the dates. If interested, we can include your tournaments in the following season
