Tournament Information
Double elimination.
All match ups will be bo3. Note: Tournament format is subject to change, dependent on how many players enter. Casters: TBD. If anyone would like to cast and stream the event, let me know. It would be preferable if you are at the event itself, but not absolutely necessary.
For each match, the first map will be Yeonsu, unless both players agree on an alternative starting map. From that point on, the loser of each game chooses the next map, excluding those that have already been played in that series.
The map pool consists of the current ladder maps, and is as follows:
Daedalus Point (2)
Habitation Station LE (2)
Heavy Rain LE (2)
Polar Night LE (2)
Yeonsu LE (2)
Alterzim Stronghold TE (4)
Frost LE (4)
- Eligibility: You must be a paid attendee of the Respawn LAN.
- Any inappropriate behavior/map hacking/any other form of cheating or abuse will result in a disqualification.
- If a player experiences technical issues, pause the match immediately and resolve the concern.
- If disconnection occurs during a match due to an accidental error such as server outage or loss of power; within the first 3 minutes of in-game clock, the match is restarted.
- If the disconnect occurs after the in-game clock reaches 3 minutes, the game will be recovered using the "Recover Game" feature within Battle.Net.
- Do not talk excessively in global chat in-game, especially when requested by the other player.
- Abusive language can result in an immediate disqualification.
- The winner of each match is responsible for notifying the Respawn admin of the outcome.
- Respawn admins reserve the right to change the rules, and disqualify any player if they deem it necessary.
I put this post together using other tournament posts on SC2SEA as a guide (thanks Eddie) and based the tournament rules off the ones ACL use. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, just let me know in the comments. The last tournament wasn't streamed at all, so I'm hoping to have one organised this time around, even if I end up streaming it myself. I'll also post a link to the tournament bracket when it's available.
