Hi, recently after patching to 1.4 i have been playing SC2 with my itunes playing music while laddering.

However i noticed that whenever any sounds get played in SC2 (ambient sounds, user interface sounds, unit sounds) my music playing from itunes will automatically drop in volume and also sound more muffled. I know that if i disable all ingame sounds it will solve my problem, but does anyone know if there's a solution that does not require me to disable my sc2 sounds and still allow my itunes music to play normally?

That's odd, normally it's just the in-game music that drops.

Don't know if this will help, you can try this fix -> Menu > Options > Sound> Alert Fade set to 100%

Try playing music from other sources (e.g. WMP, Youtube, etc) to see if it's an iTunes issue. If music from other sources also get lowered/muffled while playing SC2, it's probably a SC2 issue.

These issues happen alot in patches. They will usuallu be fixed with a new patch, it's just a matter of waiting!
