As some of you may have noticed, I have been severely inactive in SCII for the past month or two, only occasionaly popping up to a tournament, flirting with my female opponent and losing, or cheesing out some super mannered Japanese dude on TCL.
I've been going through some pretty hefty changes in my personal life, and that has drastically distracted me in trying to compete in SCII. But then that was the problem in itself, I was only playing the game to "compete". I was no longer enjoying the game, no longer feeling the passion I used to feel when I was just a 4gating mofo trying to learn PvZ from Tester or PvT from MC back in the day. Not once this month, during all the amazing GSL, MLG, Dreamhack tournaments did I bother or felt the urge to turn on a stream, play the game or even remotely think about the game. I simply no longer have the motivation nor the time to continue playing SCII. With great rising Protoss players like Yang and Bielsko, and elite oldtimers like Pinder and Sensei coming into form, I feel like my leaving no longer leaves Protoss in SEA in the horrible shape it would have been a couple months ago. "Our glory is eternal".
The saddest part of all of this is that, I have met some really really great friends throughout this journey, many of these friends are ones that I definitely feel extend way beyond SCII, and are people I would love to maintain a relationship with. But for the others, I feel that I will inevitably grow apart from you all, and that thought upsets me tremendously. But I have to move on, as a new journey in my life awaits me. I promise I will give it everything I got, just like I once did for SCII and this absolutely fantastic community.
I would compile a thank you list, but it would be way too long, there are way too many people who I have shared moments of happiness, laughter, sojus, D&Ms and even some BM with. Just know, that I will always have a special place in my heart for all of you.
Hope it all works out champ, keep in touch as you have some good friends in the SC2 scene that you don't want to drift away from just because you stopped playing the game!
Best of luck!

Always sad to see a seasoned player of any game take a leave from the game. But life's life, things change and it happens to everyone! Wish you all the best in whatever you may choose to do
i didn't know you that well aside from TS but i thought you were a great player with a great attitude. Im both sad and happy to hear that you are leaving, for the better (hopefully). on that note... DOTA 2?
fml. You don't know me that well Light, but I'll always remember the ESL tournament where you taught me how to contain a Terran on 1base... and WCG Brisbane too! I'll miss you man! I hope you get the itch again and return to us!

Ah makes me sad to see another SEA great leave the scene, but ultimately if you've found something else that you enjoy more than it would be stupid to stay with SC2. Hope it all works out man

Also i officially request that the thing under my name change to "elite old timer"
I second this.
But in all reality you were a great friend and I will miss you if you do somehow escape from the game, as pinder says everyone comes back :P Keep in touch on facebook man!
I'll miss you bro your trolling and circle-rituals (hehe) always made tourneys fun and the fact that you single handedly kept a protoss presence in sea for 6 months+ means ill always respect you!
