PROBE'S STARCRAFT LEAGUE: April Edition



I was actually supposed to announce this last month and run the first event in March, but with my computer dying and me losing all of the planning (and motivation) I had to delay it till now. Timing for this month is a bit awkward with WCS qualifiers.

Format
Monthly 16 player single elimination tournament.
Top 8 from 2 qualifiers.
Bo5 all series casted.

Prize pool
Total: $200 AUD, 500+ Points**

1st: $100 + 150 Points + Seed (for the next edition)
2nd: $50 + 100 Points + Seed
3rd/4th: $25 + 70 Points + Seed
5th/8th: Seed + 50 Points
9th/16th: 30 Points
Participation: 15 Points
** Melbourne LAN Points (Used for qualification and seeding for all my events this year)

With it looking like the SEA server is fixed for a lot of Australian players, and looking to include SEA and JP in this tournament as well, this 2nd qualifier will be hosted on the SEA server.

During the main tournament, in the event of AUS vs SEA, the server order will go AUS -> SEA -> AUS -> SEA -> AUS

Thanks for all the support for the first season. The qualifier for season 2 will probably be Sunday 7th of May. Will confirm ASAP. Busy at the moment with Dreamhack Austin prep
